Texas 70.3 kicked off the racing season with a bang, complete with terrible swims, strong bikes, and a really fun photo finish!!! You never really know how the first race of the season is going to go especially when it is one that is so early season and Texas 70.3 was a great one to test out the legs!

Honestly, I preach it to myself OFTEN as I have to constantly remind myself to think positively to take the negative thoughts and turn them into positive thoughts on a regular basis. I truly and whole heartily believe in positive self talk, not only does it boost your confidence but it is a great way to develop a mindset that challenges the obstacles you are facing as well as giving you the courage and confidence to stand back up when you fail. The mind is a very powerful feature and is so very often under utilized in our daily lives from a powerful standpoint.
Read MoreThe 2018 season has officially ended, and boy did it end on a fabulous note!!! While my official race season ended at Kona it had not ended with a few of the athletes on the Where Your Feet Take You Team which means that it was not over, and I got to live vicariously through each of these athletes as they went on their way towards reaching their goals. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to spectate and support my athletes at both Ironman Arizona and most recently at the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Indian Wells La Quinta.
