Shopping For Your Favorite (Tri) Athlete
Just like that Thanksgiving has come and gone. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week in Arizona helping my mom and dad move into their new home down there. It was very difficult to walk off the plane back in Spokane to the 20 degree weather after spending an entire week in the sunshine, but it is nice knowing that there is a home waiting to visit sometime this winter. With Thanksgiving having just passed and December right around the corner it is that time of year when we all start thinking about Christmas gifts for our favorite humans. So I put together a little list of gifts for your favorite triathlete.
This list contains a little bit of everything, and before I get to far into it I want to stress that this article is in no ways sponsored by any of these companies. A few of them I am sponsored by as an athlete and I have reached out to a few of them to see if they wanted a specific product highlighted and/or would provide a discount code however none of them are sponsoring this article. Each of these companies and the products I am highlighting are ones I have either used myself and believe in. As an athlete, coach, and Influencer I do not partner nor promote any companies or products that I do not believe in 100%.
So… without further ado here are some fun gifts for your favorite athlete!!

Right before Kona Rudy Project came out with a new performance sunnies called the “Defender”. I purchased a pair in Kona and the second I put them on my face I was in love with them. The H2 Smart bike trainer is a great gift for any triathlete, not just the ones who live in areas where it is cold and snowy. As a coach I am a huge believer in the use of an indoor trainer as it is often the fastest way an athlete can get a workout done, it allows for flexibility, really high quality workouts, and safety. I absolutely love my new H2 Smart trainer, it is incredibly quiet and provides precise wattage. At a cost of $1,199.00 it is a bit expensive so if it is outside the budget for Christmas don’t worry CycleOps has many other options of indoor trainers, both smart and classic, to fit almost any budget.
As a triathlete we go through tons of nutrition during both training and racing, giving the gift of nutrition is to give the gift of fuel. I choose to partner with Infinit because I strongly believe that no two athletes are the same, each person has their own special needs and with Infinit you can do just that. Get your athlete a nutrition package of their own special custom blend, some RAW Protein powder to add to their post workout smoothies, and Nocturne for nighttime muscle recovery. Code WhereYourFeet will get you 10% off.

Surprise your favorite athlete with the gift of speed with some new Irwin Race Wheels. Their carbon Aero profile wheels such as the AON TLR 85 are lite and fast, they also have bundles where you can get a 58 and an 85 to mix and match front and back wheel. Trust me your athlete will love it!!
